The song is also referred to Mr. Capalot, or Polo Capalot the ace rapper who hails from Chicago Illinois, started gaining attention after he began releasing tracks on YouTube. In the beginning the artist released tracks like The Come Up and NEVER CARED. Later, with his mixtape "OFFICIAL POLO.G SUNDCLOUD", he released the SoundCloud debut. Gang With Me marked his first top-selling single. It was followed by another hit Finer Things. He composed the second song while in jail.
