Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast who was captain for the US female Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. In 2012 the team, she won gold in the team competitions as well as the floor exercises. For the balance beam she was awarded the bronze medal. In 2012 she was the very first American athlete to achieve the most medals at the Olympics. She took gold in the team competition in the 2016 Olympics that made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Also, she received silvers in individual all around as well as for floor exercise. The break was for three years between the two Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. The gymnastics classes began when she was just two years old and is a fan of exercises on the floor. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who passed away due to cancer. She wants to have a successful career as a fashion designer. The leotards she wears as a signature along with socks and other garments will be expanded in the future. Fierce is a book that she will release later this year.
